Yet as statewide stay-at-home orders and self-quarantines remain in place, your favorite brands have decided to bring one-of-a-kind delicious offerings to you by releasing recipes for everything from Disney Parks’ Mickey Mouse-shaped beignets to salted caramel ice cream from Pret A Manger. Here, we share details on all of the iconic dishes you can make for yourself right now.
On April 9, the DoubleTree hotel became one of the first global brands to release the details on its famed sweet treat. Typically, more than 30 million of the warm, delicious cookies are consumed each year, yet due to the coronavirus, the hotel wanted to spread some joy by releasing the recipe for at-home cooks. Upon release, Shawn McAteer, the senior vice president and global head of DoubleTree, said, “A warm chocolate chip cookie can’t solve everything, but it can bring a moment of comfort and happiness.”
Theme park fans rarely visit their favorite sites without thinking about the food they’re going to consume upon arrival. In the case of Tennessee’s Dollywood, the meal that comes to mind is its iconic pull-apart cinnamon bread. As of April, you can bring home the park’s unmistakable Southern flavor with the official recipe, paired with hot apple butter or icing. If you’ve been to IKEA for essential home furniture, the chances are pretty high that you’ve ventured into the cafeteria to try the Sweden-born store’s iconic meatballs. Well, now you can indulge in the spicy delectables without a trip to the store, as the globally known retailer has released its recipe (via a cheeky diagram on Twitter) to the public. Plus, it even includes the Swedish cream sauce IKEA shoppers rave about.
The United Kingdom-born Pret A Manger, recognized for its cafe-style atmosphere, sandwiches and baked goods, has taken to social media during the global pandemic, releasing several recipes for everyone to enjoy. Most recently, the eatery released detailed recipes for brownie bites, a baked frittata and dark chocolate vegan cookies.

Many McDonald’s locations throughout the globe have closed their doors and takeout windows to the public due to the global pandemic, causing many people to rethink their morning go-to meals. McDonald’s UK specifically has closed all its locations in the United Kingdom and Ireland, prompting the decision to release its sausage and egg McMuffin recipe via Twitter.
Recognized for its 21-page menu and large serving sizes, The Cheesecake Factory is the go-to spot for unique cravings here in Northern Virginia and beyond. Recently, the national chain released home-style versions of its most popular dishes, including almond-crusted salmon salad, chicken taquitos and cinnamon roll pancakes. Plus, in early May, The Cheesecake Factory launched its first-ever virtual cooking class, which has continued with regularly scheduled sessions via Facebook Live.

If you’re looking for a comfort meal to make at home this week, we highly recommend this Tomato & Bacon Mac recipe. . 🧀INGREDIENTS 🧀 3 slices Uncured Applewood-smoked bacon 1 Large Order of Panera Mac & Cheese (available through delivery, Rapid Pick-Up, or drive-thru) 1/2 cup stewed tomatoes, drained and cut into 1/2” pieces 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. black pepper . 🧀INSTRUCTIONS🧀 Preheat oven to 475°F. Cook bacon in skillet, then chop. In mixing bowl, combine mac & cheese, bacon and tomatoes. Spread in 8×8 or 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. Top with bread crumbs and black pepper. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until heated through and golden brown on top.
