Even though outdoor play season is coming to an end in a few weeks, your kids can still have plenty of fun inside (without having cabin fever). Whether you’re looking for an indoor playground or a place where they can jump all the extra energy out, look forward to these indoor entertainment venues that are new or coming soon to Northern Virginia.
Hyper Kidz Alexandria
This winter-themed indoor playground perfectly matches the changing seasons. The 17,000-square foot facility that opened in early August will keep your kids entertained for hours with slides, a ball pit, soft play castle, and more. Hyper Kidz also has a location in Ashburn with a candy theme. 7005 Manchester Blvd., Ste. 10B, Franconia
Me Land
This indoor playground is out of this world. The newly opened Me Land indoor playground in Chantilly is the first location in Virginia. The space-themed experience has attractions for your smallest toddlers and your preteens with slides, jungle gyms, and indoor snow tubing track. 13905 Metrotech Dr., Chantilly
Movement
If your kids are more adventurous, they’ll be looking forward to the new Movement gym coming to Fairfax. The climbing and fitness center will feature over 27,000 square feet roped and bouldering terrain. The indoor entertainment gym plans to offer youth programs. The facility is set to open in 2025. 11750 Fair Oaks Mall, Fairfax
Sky Zone
You’ll find more than trampolines inside this fan-favorite park. Throughout the year, the trampoline park has announced three new NoVA locations are in the works in Alexandria, Arlington, and Chantilly. While the new locations aren’t set to open until at least 2025, you can still visit the locations in Fredericksburg, Manassas, Springfield, and Woodbridge. In addition to the freestyle jumping sessions, jumpers of all ages can play dodgeball, skyhoops, and take a ride down the drop slide. Multiple locations
