No matter how many hours your child has spent watching YouTube videos or playing interactive games in the past few weeks, chances are, they’re still missing even more entertainment, especially being out of school.
Luckily, if you just want an extra hour of peace and quiet from a local resource, Synetic Theater is starting its very own virtual Synetic Stories. Students can tune in on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. to hear stories based on a weekly theme, such as family, community and social skills.
The “after-school” program geared toward elementary students starts on Monday, April 27 and is currently scheduled for four weeks through Friday, May 22. Classes can be purchased individually or as a package, and are accessible via Zoom. Every story through the week is different, and may include some fairy tales, popular kids books or even original stories created by Synetic Theater students.
Have older kids who want to get in on the theatrical fun? Synetic Theater is also offering middle-school-aged Zoom classes starting in April and May, virtual teen-inspired classes and more. Now, go get that peace and quiet while your kids learn remotely and have fun doing it. // $10-$45
