Dr. Suman Sethi, DDC, is a board certified pediatric dentist. She practices at Dentistry for Children of Northern Virginia (locations in Herndon and Fairfax), where the team of experienced pediatric dentists aim to make sure all children feel at ease in the dentist chair. Dr. Sethi is specifically trained to treat children’s developing teeth and understand the unique problems that young patients face, like cavities and gum issues, and she believes in educating both parents and children for a lifetime or oral health. Dr. Sethi earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and her D.D.S. from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She completed her general practice residency at the Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center and her pediatric dental residency at the Maimonides Medical Center in New York. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. A NoVA native, she was the valedictorian at Centreville High School. In her free time, she enjoys doing volunteer mission work, most notably Mission of Mercy projects and the Jamaica Project, where she provided dental care to underserved populations.
